"... the late Lady Henry Somerset did so much to enhance the charm of the Priory by laying out the beautiful old world gardens. This fine sundial, with its graceful female figure, forms the central feature of the western alley."
This was probably positioned to the West of the Priory somewhere up to where the stone seat is situated.
