O/T of the above picture ...Can anyone remember or was a member of the Cromwell Road Music Club around 1948/49 ish. It was not exactly a 'CLUB' but rather a full on large youth orchestra. We played at the Albert Hall one year in the Harvest Festival and used to give concerts at the Central as it was known, or Central Hall. Redhill. I was one of four trumpeters, a girl I had the hots for was second trumpet.........almost 70 years ago!!!!!!!............Strewth |
