Refugees from Tristan Da Cunha arrived at temporary "homes" - a former army camp at Pendell. One of the Rodgers families inside one of the huts in the camp. Mr and Mrs Rudolf Rodgers with daughter Doreen, and sons Ronald, Alfred, Roy and Patrick.
