The big man on the right is Mr George Flint ,in the middle is Mr Salmon who worked for him and the lady in the white skirt is Mrs Flint.

Mr Flint was my great grandfather!

In 1928 my grandfather changed the above Smithy to a small petrol station with taxis . I was born in the room behind the chimney on 5th March 1934 and lived in this house from 1939 to 1946.

My grandfather was Walter E Flint. He emigrated to Canada in 1906, back to the UK and then back to Canada in June 1910. His sister was Alice. A relative (Flint) worked at the ‘insane’ asylum. My father was George Henry Flint - Canada. Any back ground would be appreciated. Thank you
