This is probably the inaugural London to Brighton motor car rally on November 14th. The route was down to Redhill, then to Reigate, and on to Brighton. It had been planned to hold this rally earlier on October 24th, but objections to the rally passing through the county by Surrey County Council caused the rally to be delayed until the day the Act came into force.
