My great-grandfather George Carter died at Reigate station on 1st October 1894. He used to work for the coal merchants Mrss. Ricketts Smith & Co. I would be grateful if you could supply me with a copy of this picture and any pics you may have of the coal merchants as above.

I have a copy of the OS map of Reigate dated1896 which shows with northern platform (1) extending further east than the southern one (2). Looking at platform 1 from platform 2 today one can see where the original western end of it was. There was a more extensive goods yard south of platform 2. You can see the goods shed behind the station buildings on that side.
