How great to see Dean Lane Park again. Lived there for five years and still talk about it today. We had some good friends there - most of us were young marrieds with children. It was a tough time but we were happy. Love to hear from anyone reading this.

I was conceived here summer 1958. My parents lived here for about 2 and a half years and were probably here when this picture was taken, certainly his driving licence from July 1956 gives his address as 7 Berkeley Close, Dean Lane Park !

I lived at Dean Lane for my first six months (January to July 1954) so any memory I have is probably somewhat false. I have the photographs, and I was told it was a happy time. Certainly we all look pretty happy even though the caravan looks somewhat small. I often wondered where the caravan site was but did not even know the name until I found it on the back of another photograph. In another picture of our caravan there is a largish building about twenty years away that looks like a toilet or shower block.
