I went to school here in 1987, it hadn't changed much inside or out from when this was taken. We still had the old desks with ink wells!

Does any one have the date Doods Brow was built please. ie The Old School (Nutfield) above.

A very late response to the enquiry about the Doods Brow school in Nutfield is that it was built in 1865. Calling it the "Old School" is incorrect, since it was built when Nutfield outgrew the original village school built in 1847. The 1847 school house is directly opposite Doods Brow, on the corner of Mid Street and High Street.
