I am the grandson of Charlie Joy, I now live in Canada but have recently been shown the old Clears mine by Brian Joy, my mother Phyllis Joy often spoke of the Clears and taken her fathers lunch to him whilst working in the mines. My aunt Kathy Joy still resides in Reigate and has some interesting photos of the period. If any family member would like to contact me they can email me at m5076@quickclic.net Thank you. Mike
