The name of the founder of Dunottar School was Mrs Jessie Elliot-Pyle. Mis-spelling of her name. They had not purchased High Trees House at that time, th school was elsewhere in Reigate.

Merstham cricket ground probably in the 1930s. It hasn't changed much except that the old pavilion is no longer used,
the boundary rail has only recently been replaced and there is now a golf course behind it instead of the trees.

Access to this pitch in my childhood Merstham days was via a farm yard with free cows and a good pungent surface to walk on!Remember the day I could not keep my feet and all hell let loose when I got home!
